Alaska Health Fair is in the middle of a very active fall season. Though we aren’t holding traditional health fairs, we are continuing to provide appointment-based services to communities around the state. October events include multiple dates in Anchorage and Fairbanks, plus individual events in Delta Junction, Girdwood, Houston, North Pole, Palmer and Wasilla. Plus, we are holding many worksite events using the same appointment-based system. We continue to work through COVID and provide much-needed services to all Alaskans, as we have for 40 years. We use safety protocols and follow our approved State of Alaska Essential Services Plan. Please follow these easy steps to pre-register for a convenient appointment time – while taking note that walk-ins are not permitted and available appointment times are limited (so register early).
Go online to https://www.alaskahealthfair.org to find your region and a convenient location/date;
Select the Make Appointment Button to the right on the same line of your selected date;
Read all COVID-19 questions (on left side of popup box/scrolling down to read all COVID items);
Select the blue circle for the date you’re wanting; available times will open up;
Pick a preferred time, then confirm, following simple steps to schedule and secure your time;
Answer three questions to register; an email address is required and cell phone number is preferred;
You’ll receive an immediate email confirmation from Calendly with your appointment details;
Convenient reminder emails are sent out, along with text message reminders (if you provided a cell phone number) and details on fasting, medications, hydration, COVID-19 protocols, what to do on arrival, etc.;
Easily cancel or change your appointment (from the bottom of your original email confirmation);
You don’t need to select your preferred tests until your appointment day/time (at registration);
Call an Alaska Health Fair office if you have problems or questions about accessing the service – Anchorage, 907-278-0234 or Fairbanks, 907-374-6853.
We hope you have a wonderful fall.
